Mbase Console Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Mbase Console, published by HOME TECNOLOGIA (HMTC), accesses, stores and transmits information.

Information handled by the app

Mbase Console stores the configuration needed to administer the hosts that the user explicitly adds, including host names or IP addresses, ports, display names and operational settings. It may handle SSH credentials, private keys, passphrases, Mbase licence keys and role tokens entered by the user. Operational screens may display commands, responses, logs and diagnostic information returned by configured Mbase hosts.

Purpose and use

This information is used solely to connect to, provision, administer and diagnose the Mbase infrastructure selected by the user, and to activate or verify Mbase licences. Mbase Console does not use this information for advertising and does not sell personal information.

Storage and security

Machine configuration and preferences are stored locally on the Windows device. Passwords, private keys, passphrases and tokens are stored through Windows Credential Manager rather than in the Console configuration database. Connections to configured hosts use SSH; supported Mbase service connections use encrypted HTTPS where applicable. Users remain responsible for securing their Windows account and the hosts they administer.

Transmission and disclosure

The app transmits information only when the user initiates or configures an operation: to the Mbase hosts selected by the user, and to HMTC licence or resource services where required by the requested Mbase function. Information may therefore also be processed by the organization operating those configured hosts. HMTC does not disclose Console data to advertising networks or data brokers. Disclosure may occur where required by applicable law or to protect the security and integrity of the service.

Telemetry and location

Mbase Console does not include third-party advertising or analytics telemetry. Its offline home map may use the operating system time zone and locale to suggest a country locally; it does not request precise device location and does not transmit that inference.

User controls and retention

Users can remove saved hosts and credentials through the Console and Windows Credential Manager. Uninstalling the app removes the packaged application; Windows or organizational retention rules may govern remaining local credentials, backups and records held by independently operated Mbase hosts. Requests concerning HMTC-held licence or support information may be sent to the address below.

Children

Mbase Console is a professional infrastructure administration tool and is not directed to children.
